Lochedge Lodge – Terms
Terms and Conditions of Hire
The rented property shall be used solely for holiday purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing by the owners. The renter must vacate the property at the termination of the rented stay. Lochedge Lodge will be available from 1600 hrs on the first day of the rented stay and must be vacated by 1000 hrs on the final day of the rented stay. The owner reserves the right to enter the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection, repairs or other essential work or in the event of an emergency.
Pets
Up to two dogs are permitted on request, the charge per stay is £30.00 for one dog and £50.00 for two dogs.
Cleaning
The Lodge is cleaned thoroughly between each let. The turn around time is quite tight, so we request that our guests leave the Lodge in the same condition as they found it, leaving it in an untidy/dirty condition may result in guests being invoiced for cleaning.
Charges
Our charges include bed linen and towels and heating and lighting. Complimentary toiletries and a small complimentary welcome basket are provided.
Booking Deposit
A deposit of £50.00 is required at the time of booking and the remainder will become due for payment four weeks before your arrival date. Bookings made within four weeks of your arrival date must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Please note that by completing a booking form and paying the deposit you (the renter) have entered into a legal agreement. This means that you are bound to abide by the terms and conditions of the rental and any other reasonable instructions given by the property owner.
Insurance
We advise you to take out travel insurance once you have made your booking, otherwise you may lose money if for any reason you have to cancel your trip.
How to Pay
Payment of both the deposit and final balance may be made by cash, cheque, BACS transfer or through STRIPE on our booking system; STRIPE is the most usual method of payment.
Number of Guests / Occupants
A maximum of two guests may be accommodated during any one stay; we request you let us know whether one or two people will be staying when you make your booking.
Loss or Damage
Guests (the renters) are responsible for any damages or breakages to the property and its contents. All damages, breakages and loss must be reported and paid for before departure.
Smoking
We do not permit smoking inside the Lodge; this is for Health & Safety reasons and for the comfort of future guests. Smoking outside is permitted but ask that guests dispose of matches and cigarette ends in the bin provided.
Boats/Kayaks/Paddleboards and Bicycles
If you wish to make use of easy waterside and country access at the Lodge you must bring your own boats and bikes. Undercover storage is available for bikes and space outside is available for storing boats, etc.
Wi-Fi
Good Wi-Fi is available at the Lodge.
